Anas Bukhash is probably one of the very few talented and amazing interviewers out there. In fact, he knows how to conduct an interview respectfully, taking into consideration his guests’ feelings, thoughts, opinions, etc., analyzing what’s been said, and asking great, thoughtful, and intelligent questions. I have watched many interviews and I still continue to do so from time to time, so I thought of sharing my favourite ones so far.

Not long ago, I came across Bassel Alzaro and Karim Rihan’s YouTube channel called “El-Podcasters”. They interview all kinds of guests, mostly celebrities/public figures from the Middle East, since the duo comes from the media industry. I’ve listened to many interviews and thus decided to share my favourite and most inspiring ones.

In September 2017, I had a chance to meet Dr. Hazem Saleh, former Consul and Director of the Egyptian Bureau for Cultural and Educational Affairs in Canada. What I thought would be a short and sweet interview was actually a three-hour meeting, like old friends catching up. In fact, Dr. Saleh is one of the friendliest, most optimistic and knowledgeable consuls I’ve met. I am honoured to have seen him and witness his contagious positive energy. (more…)
