Maged El Kidwany is one of my favourite actors ever. If you think he’s not one of the best actors out there, then I’ll have to highly disagree with you. I love this man. I love every single one of his performances. I love listening to his interviews: he’s so wise, respectful, humble, and peaceful in his ways when he speaks. You wish you could be his friend.

Sometimes, you’ll watch a movie and the next day, it’s as if you had never watched it. It’s almost forgettable, like when you don’t remember what you had for lunch yesterday. However, other times, you’ll watch a movie that will make you feel all the feels, and even though you only watched it once, you remember it so well as if you had watched it a hundred times. In this blog post, I want to talk about those movies, the ones that made me either cry, laugh so hard, made my heart melt… Basically the ones I could never forget.

I love music, but more than that, I love the artists behind the world-changing albums, songs, soundtracks… I love getting to know them even if it’s through a screen, simply watching an interview of them. It’s the closest I can get to digging into their minds and get a taste of their thoughts, mentalities, philosophies, creativity, etc. Therefore, when it comes to documentaries, I love it when it’s about an artist, living or dead, whether I am a fan of their music or not, because the one thing all musicians have in common is music. Though different, they all have creative processes they follow, they all go on a life-changing journey, and they almost all have a similar life/background. It’s thus never really about the artist per se but more about their creativity. Here is a list of my favourite music documentaries.

Anas Bukhash is probably one of the very few talented and amazing interviewers out there. In fact, he knows how to conduct an interview respectfully, taking into consideration his guests’ feelings, thoughts, opinions, etc., analyzing what’s been said, and asking great, thoughtful, and intelligent questions. I have watched many interviews and I still continue to do so from time to time, so I thought of sharing my favourite ones so far.

They interview all kinds of guests, mostly celebrities/public figures from the Middle East, since the duo comes from the media industry. I’ve listened to many interviews and thus decided to share my favourite and most inspiring ones.
